I could go on and on about the changes I want to make and what happened this year. Instead, I want to walk down 2019 in a different perspective.
2019 opened my eyes to see things in a new way.
Here’s how:
Driving strangers around as a Lyft driver, listening to peoples stories, mostly how they have to get methadone daily. How a mixture of doctors suggestions and personal decisions lead the way to Maine’s opioid crisis and how bad it really is.
When I was leaving the movie theatre when I saw Toy Story 4, I felt like I needed a psychologist.
I spent a good chunk of my life over thinking and this was the first year I stopped. It was hard, I had to find a new avenue to stop. It works for me. I had so many adventures because I didn’t weigh out the pro’s and con’s and just said yes!
I fell in love with, Paper Rings, Cornelia Street, and Speechless.
Long lost friends were lost, I said good bye to WPLJ and my beloved Rouge. I’m not sure what is going on with the Phillipsburg Mall, you might have to add that to the lost friends list.
I found PT Barnum, Games of Thrones and new friends.
2019 had a share of love, strength, and challenges. Some parts I wouldn’t want to relive again, but thankful the situation wasn’t worse. It showed me that I can deal with anything life throws at me and 2020 I’m ready for you!
