“I always like to think that some people’s first impression of Greta Van Fleet in concert is, ‘Wow, these guys really like dressing to the left and blowing shit up,’” notes frontperson Josh Kiszka, adding, “this song is particularly important to me because it’s about my jumpsuits.”

`Sacred The Thread is the newest track to be unveiled from the bands highly anticipated latest album Starcatcher out in July on Lava/Republic Records. The albums first single Meeting the Master is out now and has received critical acclaim. Consequence raves that the song “[digs] deeper into their mythical lore by revisiting concepts from their previous work,” while Uproxx notes that “‘Meeting the Master’ [is] an existential new single on which lead vocalist Josh Kiszka embarks on a spiritual journey.

The band is launching new vinyl variants including a red glitter vinyl exclusive to Target and an opaque vinyl available at select record stores.

The band is preparing to kick off their Starcatcher World Tour on July 24th in Nashville. The includes stops at Madison Square Garden in New York and the Forum in Los Angeles. Tickets can be purchased here. Kale, Surf Curse, Mt Joy and Black Honey are the supporting acts on the Starcatcher World Tour.
