For those who know me, knows my love for the city runs deep. Before I started working on the Findings project, I was working on the NYC photography project for a friends dad. This project hasn’t stopped, its just on hold for a few reasons.

I love talking about this day. Of course I had the day planned out. I was going to meet a friend of mine at Grand Central and then jump on the F train into Brooklyn and we were going to head to the Brooklyn Bridge, Dumbo and if we had time Brooklyn Heights.

I got off the train, met my friend and headed out to the street. The sun was beginning to rise and I was doing my thing with my camera. We figured we would find a train station during our walk. That did not happen. The cold morning sunrise kept us walking as we ended up by the Empire State Building. From there we decided to keep going, we figured would come across the subway anyways. We walked past the Flat Iron building I’m not sure where we zigged when we should have zagged and ended up in China town. I loved China town, so many unique things like the language symbols everywhere and was really bright and colorful for 9 am. It was a couple blocks of walking into another world. Then we managed to get down by the Federal Courthouse in lower Manhattan. We sat for a few minutes before we made our way to the Brooklyn Bridge. Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge is always exciting, this was my first time. Then we walked around Dumbo for a while and made the trek back to Midtown via the F train.

Some of these are available on my online store for purchase.
